Lake Macquarie is arguably one of the finest sailing venues in the world. It is Sailing Heaven. Members enjoy regular opportunities to sail together both socially and competitively, usually on Wednesday afternoons all year round and Friday evenings in Daylight Saving Times. Suitable refreshments are taken during the races and members frequently share a relaxed meal at the Lake Macquarie Yacht Club after the twilight races.
