Activities
The next cycling outing will be on Friday February 9th
The Cycling Group meets at 9.00 am on the second and fourth Fridays of the month.
Members and Partners are welcome.
Rides are on various safe cycle-friendly routes to such places as Redhead,
Whitebridge, Kahibah, Pelican, Blacksmiths, Swansea, Caves Beach,
Murrays Beach and Valentine.
For a bit more variety we can also agree to transport our bikes to other
interesting venues such as Maitland, Morpeth, Raymond Terrace, Newcastle, Stockton,
Warners Bay, Speers Point, Booragul, Teralba, Toronto, Boolaroo, Glendale
and Wallsend.
The majority of these venues have reasonably flat terrain, separated safely
from the car traffic. Each adventure covers a distance of roughly 8 to 20
kilometres and all have adequate toilet stops and cafes/coffee shops/pubs/
clubs along the way.
All routes chosen are suitable for both electric and non-electric bicycles.
